Help Center

HOW DO I BORROW A DRESS?

Browse our dresses online. Request the dress that you wish to borrow by SKU number and product name. Please include the date and title of the event that you need it for. You can request a fitting at our location, or arrange for a few dresses to be brought to your school.

You can also visit the IODE Opportunity Shop in Goderich to view our in-person collection of 25 dresses.

WHAT KIND OF DRESSES DO YOU OFFER?

We have over 100 dresses in our growing collection. We depend on donations, but we have a wide range of sizes from XXS to XXL. There’s something for everyone!

DO I HAVE TO RETURN THE DRESS?

Yes! It is extremely important to the longevity of our program that all dresses be returned to be used again.

Returning the dress ensures that another student can experience the same excitement and confidence that comes with finding their perfect look. Each dress is part of a shared collection, and by bringing it back, you’re helping the program continue to support others year after year.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BORROW A DRESS?

Completely free! The program exists to make special events accessible to all students.

WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO BORROW A DRESS?

First of all, borrowing a dress can save you a lot of money. Whether a dress feels too expensive or you’d rather spend your money elsewhere, the Princess Project can save you hundreds of dollars. Second, borrowing from us helps reduce the environmental impact of special events by avoiding fast fashion and single-use clothing. Plus, our convenient location makes it easy to find the perfect dress, and returning it means you won't have to worry about storing it after your event.

HOW LONG DO I GET TO KEEP THE DRESS?

We ask that dresses be returned within 10 days of your event, so other students can enjoy them too.
