ABOUT US

The Princess Project is a community-driven initiative dedicated to providing free dresses and suits to students for special occasions like prom, semi-formals, and graduations.

Founded in 2013 by GDCI student Sam Gowanlock (now Hamilton), the project quickly gained support from the school and the surrounding community. Thanks to generous donations from local residents, we offer a wide selection of over 70 dresses, ensuring that every student can feel confident and celebrated on their special day. In 2021, the project transitioned to the Rotaract Club of Goderich, which continues to uphold its mission of making formal events accessible to all students. Together, we believe that every young person deserves to shine!

Browse our selection and contact us with the title and SKU number to borrow a dress or arrange for a fitting.

Thank you to the following Rotaract Members for being a part of the Princess Project Committee and ensuring that it thrives: Emma Bartz, Chandal Bradley, Amy Boyce, Jenna Pentland, and Samantha Hamilton.
